October Roundup is here. LinkedIn moved the goalposts again this month, so here are three reads to help you keep up and max out your aura…
LinkedIn rewards dwell time, and carousels are one of the best ways to drive engagement. Amy's post on the latest carousel change went viral, and in this piece she breaks down what is actually going on with the new format. LinkedIn now shows the first two slides side by side, which left a lot of existing carousels hard to read without opening them full screen. Her advice is simple: skip the panic, test new dimensions (landscape, bigger text or a 2-slide carousel) and measure what your own audience responds to.
What does it mean for your brand aura: LinkedIn carousels are one of the most effective ways to explain complex concepts on a channel like LinkedIn. The layout may have changed, but a carousel that explains something well still makes people stop and read, and that dwell time is exactly what LinkedIn rewards. If a full deck feels like too much right now, start with Amy's 2-slide version.
Comments on your post have been one of the key drivers of your post being shown to more people, but this recent research by MagicPost found that things have drastically changed. The study looked at 684,000 posts from 16,000 creators between June 2025 and September 2026. Until the week of 27 July, "Comment KEYWORD" posts beat their creator's average impressions by 9%. After it, they landed 52% below average, and the number of people reached fell by 62%. Creators who use the comment keyword trick are not getting the boost anymore.
What does it mean for your brand aura: It's time to learn NEW tricks. LinkedIn is changing, and the content that lasts is timely and uncopyable. Comment bait is declining, but there are other ways to reach leads who are actually interested, from a newsletter to an asset. Close your post with a real question instead, and put the link to your newsletter or asset straight in the post.
While we speak about branding, the one portion that gets insufficient attention is distribution. So here’s a newsletter that will effectively help you build you distribution of your content.
It has been said a million times: AI can be an accelerator, but use it wisely. Pierre Heubel breaks down how to use it for your LinkedIn content with 7 dos and don'ts. The don'ts are outsourcing your creative thinking, writing your copy with AI and using AI for video. The dos are building a knowledge center your AI can draw from, generating insights from real sources like interviews and sales calls, scanning the web for timely topics and scaling through repurposing.
What does it mean for your brand aura: Learn how to build consistent systems with AI while keeping your core brand idea intact. Pierre puts it as "AI is only as good as the knowledge you give it," which is the same case Wyndo made in last month's roundup. If you only steal one thing, steal the knowledge center: one place for your transcripts, posts and notes before you ask AI for anything.
